Where is the event held? |

The Gathering is held on site at the host hotel in Marietta, Ga. at the Atlanta Mariott Northwest Hotel. All event activities are held here. It's a 1 stop weekend, no need to travel back and forth to your hotel!. |

I'm not showing my car, why do I have to pay? |

The car show is just one portion of the weekend. The event is not a profitable venture nor is intended to be. We can't do this without the proper facilities. The people with the facilities we need access too ARE 'for profit' and need to be paid. This event is well rounded and designed as a relaxing weekend for the hardcore Fbody fans. There are several areas of the event that work on the honor system. Those that attempt to thwart that system hurt everyone. We're fans like everyone but if your caught, you will be asked to leave. Any vehicle on show grounds without proper parking credentials will be towed away BY THE HOTEL at the owners expense. |

The gathering is an annual event held in Atlanta to celebrate the Camaro & Firebird cars and enthusiasts. We provide a relaxed atmosphere with everything on the schedule happening in one location. No need to travel back and forth to a show site. We host a full event schedule. |

Who puts on the Gathering? |

The gathering is put together by a very dedicated group of volunteers. We are a not for profit. Our annual event in Atlanta is our "Hometown" show but from time to time we branch out and work in other areas assisting other organizations whether it be in a staffing role or mentoring. Our focus is on the hobby and the people trying to bring the hobby to the public. If your club needs a hand getting your show off the ground? Feel free to drop us a line! |

Why don't you offer racing at your Atlanta event. |

Over 80% of other annual events of this size around the country focus on racing in one form or another. Our goal is to provide a more relaxed 'vacation' type of atmosphere. While we are happy to provide maps with directions to drag racing facilities around Atlanta, if racing is your primary interest, this event may not be for you. |

Why Cobb County? |

Cobb County is great and let me tell you.. beautiful facilities such as ours aren't found on every street corner. Our location gives us a unique layout that has proven to be perfect for our show. |

Burnouts, Etc.? |

I cannot believe people actually ask this question. As nicely as I know to put this. If you do a burnout or exhibit any sort of unsafe driving, you WILL be escorted off the property without a refund. Anyone who drives a F-car knows what they are capable of, there is no need to show off in parking lot full of people. If you can't control yourself, please.. stay home. Our goal is for you to have a fun but a SAFE weekend. I will not hesitate to sign a complaint against anyone with a self-control issue. Save it for the track. Enough said. |

I want to bring more then one friend can I get a name badge for them? |

Ahh yes.. the FbodyGathering name badge! Often imitated but never duplicated!. We spend a great deal of time creating these each year. They are a tremendous effort but they have become the 'signature' of this event. We will reserve name badges for pre-registered entries. After the cutoff date will will provide name badges but you'll have to write your name in with a really cool black sharpie! |

Will there be security on-site for the weekend? |

Yes, the Cobb County Police will be on hand to keep an eye on things. |

Where is the closest car wash to the hotel? |
| A: |
There will be water hoses right on site located at the rear of the hotel. Just bring your bucket, sponge, soap and other supplies and your set! The hotel is kind enough to supply us with towels to use, please.. don't use your room towels! |

I'm trailering my car. Will there be trailer parking? |
| A: |
Yes but a limited number of spots are available. We may ask you to disconnect your tow vehicle and park the trailer next to it so please be sure to bring proper materials to secure your trailer. |
